As an engineer and a product builder, I believe there is a way for children to interact with enriching and mindful technology that goes beyond passive consumption and mindless scrolling—a solution that is not all-immersive but interactive and reflective, truly nurturing the "whole child," intrinsically motivating them to be curious, develop social confidence and build emotional fluency.

After over a year of research, collaboration with leading experts in neuroscience, child development psychology, and education, and testing with thousands of parents, teachers, and children, we created Troo (previously known as Yeti, My Friend). 

At its core, Troo symbolizes being "true" to yourself- it's the highest value we believe in. Troo is NOT just another app – Troo bridges the gap between the child and their real-world experiences. Troo is a gentle guide and a friend, helping children build their social-emotional skills, explore their creativity, dive into real-world social conversations, and practice self-awareness. With Troo, screen time becomes purposeful, sparking curiosity and reflection and building confidence in children, making it guilt-free and value-adding for parents and teachers.
